Welcome

Welcome to Wikiyouth, FWN! We're glad to have you with us, and we hope that you'll be a helpful member of the community! We would encourage you to join our chat in real-time. We also invite you to join our forums and make some posts there! The Wikiyouth Association is a small project. Thank you so much for joining! Thunderhead 01:52, 20 December 2006 (CET)

Thank you very much for your nice welcome! FWN 02:00, 20 December 2006 (CET)
Hey, I'm not a beauracrat on here, so sucking up to me isn't gonna help :) Thunderhead 02:01, 20 December 2006 (CET)
Actually, I wasn't. FWN 02:02, 20 December 2006 (CET)
I know, I was joking, man! Thunderhead 02:19, 20 December 2006 (CET)
You will be sucking up to me when I become admin!!! FWN 03:50, 20 December 2006 (CET)
Hehe - Thunderhead already is an admin :). Welcome! Do you edit on any other wikis - perhaps you'd like to introduce yourself on the forums (we have a newcomers' topic in the "forums" forum). Thanks, Martinp23 23:11, 20 December 2006 (CET)
Yup, he does, Martin. He's FellowWikipedian on Wikipedia, and FellowWikiNews on Wikinews. Thunderhead 01:13, 21 December 2006 (CET)
Yes, I registered on forum.wikiyouth.org yesterday. I am an admin on Wikinews so I already know how the admin tools work :) FWN 17:38, 21 December 2006 (CET)

Contributions

Excellent work on your contributions so far, FWN. I would, however, like to ask that you do not blank pages when requesting a speedy deletion. This will help me to see why it should be deleted without trailing through the edit history. One more thing (on a lighter not) you forgot the Cabal button ... I mean, what Cabal? Thunderhead 05:25, 20 December 2006 (CET)

Ok, next time I will not delete the text :) FWN 18:45, 20 December 2006 (CET)

Re: Time zone

Well, at the moment, the site's being hosted in Germany (I think, or elsewhere in Europe). Hopefully, at some point, we'll be able to change it back one hour. For now though, it's in UTC +1 (as I can evidence from my computer clock :)) - hopefully Erik will be able to fix it at some point :) Martinp23 18:22, 21 December 2006 (CET)

Thanks for reverting the vandalism to my talk page. Martinp23 18:24, 21 December 2006 (CET)
Your welcome. FWN 20:38, 21 December 2006 (CET)

Mailing List

Hey, FWN. Thought you might be interested in the Wikiyouth Mailing List . Read over that forum topic, and subscribe if you want. Thunderhead 21:57, 2 January 2007 (CET)

RE: Meta Pages

I want you to remove all the dead links, and make them fit to Wikiyouth. I'll help you out after I finish my homework. Thunderhead 03:15, 4 January 2007 (CET)

I live in the ET timezone so it is late now. I will probably be back tomorrow sometime. FWN 04:09, 4 January 2007 (CET)
No problem, so do I. I just have a ton of schoolwork to do. Thunderhead doesn't want to do homework. Thunderhead 05:02, 4 January 2007 (CET)
That's okay. FWN doesn't like homework :-( FWN 16:32, 4 January 2007 (CET)
No problem. Whenever you can do those meta pages is fine. I'll get Messed and everyone else working on it. Thunderhead 04:42, 5 January 2007 (CET)

Replies :)

Hi - I chose to use "promote" as a quicker (and less clumsy) way of saying "make a bureaucrat". Also, I've fixed the nasty page moves there, and blocked the user involved. I'll pester Erik on IRC to try to get a checkuser, in case it's someone I've been complaining about to their ISP and school :) Thanks, Martinp23 20:46, 28 February 2007 (CET)
