Help the Users of Wikiyouth

Building a wiki takes alot of communication and hard work. This noticeboard should lessen the communication work by adding a centralized area for users to communicate. This noticeboard will have a section for administrative tasks (protecting a page, blocking a user, etc.) and for normal community requests, such as creating a page, etc.

If you enjoy doing work for the community, then it may be wise to watch this page so it appears more easily in the Recent Changes. When you have completed a task, make sure to use {{done}} and sign the page (~~~~). This will let users know that the task is done. You can also visit one of our IRC channels

How to list a page here

You can post your notice by creating a new section. Enter a descriptive heading and try to keep the main part of your proposal short and to the point, especially if you're requesting admin action. If you're reporting bad behaivour or vandalism, please include diffs WP:DIFF and appropriate evidence.

If you'd like administrator attention to your post, please type "ADMIN" at the start of the heading, to bring it quickly to our attention.

Accounts

I created and redirected the accounts User:FellowWikiNews and User talk:FellowWikiNews to my userpage and talk page to prevent impersonation.

I also noticed that when someone creates an account on this site, you cannot see the account creation on the recent changes. So if someone creates a vandalism account, we cannot see it on the recent changes. Is there any way of fixing this problem? FWN 18:46, 5 March 2007 (CET)

Approve Antivandalbot

The community should vote on whether or not to approve this AVB. If approved, the user will be granted bot status. If not, the user's scripts should be shut down immediatly. Please use Template:Support or Template:Oppose.

• Oppose - it's not running on code - the operator is just sitting behind it reverting vandalism manually. Giving a bot account to do that just poses a security risk, and is pointless in any case. Until I see the code, it's a no. Martinp23 08:51, 14 March 2007 (CET)

Well, I've got one which would work fine, if we had a recent changes IRC channel. This may be something to beg Erik for. (otherwise, I may, given time, be able to write a bot which uses query.php or something instead, but IRC is much more reliable) Martinp23 19:00, 16 March 2007 (CET)
