This page lists current requests for the sysop right on this wiki only.

Remember: Administrators do not have "special" editorial rights. Administrators are servants of the community. They can edit pages in the MediaWiki: namespace (system messages), block users, delete pages, and protect pages. However, they must be willing to follow site policy.

When requesting adminship, you will need to list your username, and the reason you want to be an administrator on this page. You must also meet the following criteria:

  • You must have trust from the community.
  • You must have at least 3 months of activity on the site.
  • You must have at least 30 posts on the Wikiyouth Forum.
  • The Wiki Must Have A Need For Administrators.

Adminship will be granted to approved users after a review conducted by current administrators. You may be asked to attend a meeting on IRC to help us with our decision.

Requests for Adminship

The following discussion is an archived debate of a proposal to give extra rights to a user. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in the appropriate venue, in most cases here. No further edits should be made to this vote.

The result of the debate was to promote MessedRocker to bureaucrat. As one of the few active admins, I have taken the step of closing this debate despite the fact that I voted upon it - the consensus is clear cut, there being compelling reasons for promotion, but a lack of reasons not to give Messed the extra bit. Messedrocker Bureaucrat

Messedrocker, the founder (along with Erik) of this project has made wonderful contributions to the project. I feel that he deserves bureaucrat status, since Erik isn't on too often, and the project needs another bureaucrat. --Thunderhead 04:06, 16 February 2007 (CET)

Thunderhead (farmer)
